I develop games and I have used Poser / Daz 2D images for those, mostly Poser. We convert them to the lowest resolution needed to improve the game performance. These games run fast (30 - 60 frames per second i.e. it is cycling through the code 30 - 60 times a second and displaying images to screen at that speed). The minute you start using high resolution images you limit your game to only run on desktop or the latest and greatest mobile devices (which are scarce outside of first world markets.) My games in Unity that is rendering 3D real time will only run on fairly recent devices, it stutters on older phones. That's pretty much the reason all apps reduce the resolution.
For simply transferring your renders from your PC to your mobile, you can use cloud storage that links them, Bluetooth or USB. The resolution will remain the same. You do not specifically need an app for that.
Where I would like to see an app or progress is to have a Poser light that you can run on a mobile with a draft render, and then pay a fee to upload and render these on a server i.e. Bondware's server for the final quality render and then the render is returned to you (In fact I'd pay for this even from a PC, because a high quality render uses up 100% of my PC resources and then takes a few hours.) I think this would open up the software to 1000s of people that only use mobile internet and do not own laptops or desktops.

Thread: Why are the Same Vendors put on Sale Over and Over and Over Again? | Forum: Community Center
The "store" sales are for top sellers and active vendors only - that's why you're seeing the same vendors over and over again. But then these vendors are the most important Vendors to Renderosity.
The group sales that are a specific theme - any of the vendors can participate in - that said, the majority of my products can't participate because the theme they're in never comes up - probably because my products are less mainstream.
It is a bit of a catch-22 - I no longer make content because what I made didn't sell enough to make it viable - that means I'm no longer an active vendor and can't promote what I made - which means there's no chance of my selling enough to make it viable for me to become an active vendor again...

Thread: Hello my girlfriend has those weird pixels | Forum: The MarketPlace Wishing Well
Hi Daysan, this is posted in the wrong place and that is probably why nobody has helped you, if you post questions in the Daz or Poser forums you'd get help within a few hours.
Generally those are indications that the render hasn't gone on for long enough. When there are reflections or light spots, they're dealt with last in the render engines - if you tell me what render engine you're using, I can give you an example of how to change the settings to solve those.
For example, with Iray, there is a setting "progressive render" and you would have to increase the maximum samples allowed, and the maximum time allowed so that Daz will continue rendering the image until it has dealt with all the sparkles.

Thanks for all the replies.
I'll go with something else instead, like rendering is more fun than watching cute cat videos on YouTube :-)

I looked under dynamic - I didn't have it there. I also did a general search for the dress and Poser couldn't find it.
Under Tipol I only have Romantic Dress and Clothing Elf in the props section.

I see on the store listing here for Daisy Dress that they say it is included - but I don't have it either and I've installed everything from Poser 11.
I don't think it was included - not sure if that was by accident or design - but you wouldn't find it at this point. Probably would have to ping the Marketplace admins to find out if the store listing is wrong or if it was accidentally left out of the Poser packaging.

Thread: Poser as a continuing investment for content creation | Forum: Community Center
Dawn and Dusk were created to work in Poser and Daz - it was an attempt to keep the community together - they didn't really take off as was envisaged.
Poser figures that are weight-mapped in Poser do not work in Daz Studio.
Daz Studio figures that are weight-mapped in Daz Studio do not work in Poser.
Poser and Daz do not read objects the same way - so a lot of static props that will work in one, will not work in the other - they will distort. It happens that people buy props thinking it will work in the "other" and then wanting a refund because it does not.
Because a lot of your textures / materials are procedural and not external - it's not a simple matter to convert from the one to the other. It takes weeks.
Historically, Daz has read Poser files and they've kept some compatibility there because people used to only have "Poser" content. This allows Daz Studio users to buy Poser content if it's setup in a certain way and use it, but Poser has never been able to read Daz Studio files natively.
No, the best Renderosity vendors are not turning up at Daz. There's always been a migration from Renderosity to Daz - but the quality and content of what's available has always been equally good at Renderosity and in some cases better. What Renderosity does is allow more quirky content, new vendors and gives everyone an equal opportunity to try their luck. That's unique and that's something Daz does not do - Daz won't accept a product if they feel it's not going to sell a lot.
There's a market for Poser and Poser content. There's a market for Daz Studio and Daz Studio content. This is not the same market - it's two different markets. Renderosity supports both, and then also Vue, 2D, photoshop etc. Variety is nice.

Thread: What Does the 21 April 11.3 Update Change? | Forum: Poser 11
@EldritchCellar - it was mentioned in a different thread - something about morphs that were broken. It's not personal - it's that Renderosity's forum software is broken - they don't send you follow up notices that people have replied - so those that have posted here, simply don't know there are more posts unless they happen to browse the forums and notice by accident.
I've installed 11.3.816 - I've not noticed any difference - since I didn't have the morphs problem. It does crash every time I try to add a group to a bone in the setup room - I don't know if I'm doing something wrong - most likely - but even so it should give me an error message, not crash every time.
In general I've found 11.3 to be less stable and more prone to crashing - .816 does not fix this.

I answered you in this thread: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/?thread_id=2946415 - just click on Exclude Process.
I have no problems with Norton - this is just teething issues on a new feature Norton has introduced.

Thread: Still problems with build 11.3.740. | Forum: Poser 11
The search is somewhat broken in 11.3.740 - in their attempt to fix it they changed it - but they didn't take into consideration that a whole lot of our content are materials in Pose folders (from when stuff had to work in Daz and Poser) and so have the pose extension. Now when you search those folders are shown closed and their content doesn't appear.
Secondly there's a little (i) to indicate that it is still busy indexing and it can pop up quite often. When Poser is doing that - the search won't work and you have to wait until it is finished.
I've had a lot of problems installing 11.3.816 It took a long time from clicking the setup before it started running - minutes. It hung when it was finished and I had to end task it - at that point it popped up the message to say the installation was finished. Then when running it Norton blocked it writing the default scene and I had to tell Norton to allow it through. Now that has not happened before, but this is a new feature that Norton introduced that is giving me problems all over the place - so would be a Norton issue rather than a Poser issue.
But I have had issues with .740 - and Poser crashing and setting up materials not working - so I installed .816 in the hope that it will work better - but if nothing much other than the morph mirroring were fixed, then I guess Poser is going to keep crashing.

Thread: What Does the 21 April 11.3 Update Change? | Forum: Poser 11
Oh, and by the way 11.3.740 changed all the Superfly render settings presets and / or renamed them - that was a bad change.
The default Superfly preset now when you open Poser isn't saved - it's not what the "default" is - and the presets as they previously were - are completely lost unless you had saved them yourself. If you want the default back after applying another preset - you have to go save that yourself (or close Poser and start a new scene.)
