May I add a caution that you should consider keeping Poser library *mostly* as 'External', just link in 'Usual Suspects', plus what you need for current project...
IMHO, Poser does not appreciate having its data-base(s) congested, be it by a zillion library items or several dozen FBX sub-rigs...
( 'Parent' latter to their 'master' sub-rig ASAP !!!)
Having a sprawling archive of '3D Stuff' that began before P_3 and is now several Terabytes of file-formats ranging from 3DS via SFM to XPS, I've learned that Windows, for all its faults and petty exasperations, does have a fair search-engine...
Thread: Poser 14? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've acquired a lot of budget 'fantasy' wear and accessories from eg Xurge, though mostly for M3/V3 & M4/V4...
I find many free 'Fantasy / SciFi' props, scene-sets and pre-clad, rigged figures / monsters on eg DA and BowlRoll, albeit in XPS, FBX, PMX or SFM format. As Poser_11 can usually manage to import FBX --I'm told _13 is better-- converting to OBJ props or rigged FBX from such 'native' formats via eg free XNA/Lara and free Noesis can supply a lot of useful stuff. Downside, a clad FBX figure often arrives as many subsidiary rigs. Some will be clothing or hair options, safely deleted. The rest must be promptly parented to first / primary rig lest over-cluttered Poser Hierarchy 'falls over'. Oh, and if FBX does not correctly (*) auto-load materials, that's your evening gone...
*) Pathing can be problematic: FBX permits both absolute and relative calls to material textures; If absent, set to artist's X: drive and/or deep, deep into folder tree, Ick...

Thank you for this information.
Converting figures from other formats, such as XPS or PMX to OBJ props / mannequins or rigged FBX, I often find they 'natively' applied material layers in a different sequence to Poser_11. Usual symptom is 'poke-through' of pants / tights. Okay, there are oft-tedious work-arounds, but being able to re-sequence in _13 must be so handy...
( Have purchased upgrade from _11 to _13 but currently distracted by storms' 'mild' roof damage revealed as akin to Godzilla rampage... )

Sorta Plan_B is to export clad figure from DS --Whose UI gives me a prompt migraine !!-- as rigged FBX...
Has any-one succeeded in dynamically dressing bare Genesis 7/8/9 figures imported thus ??
( I port a lot of clad game-derived figures, especially XPS format, to Poser as FBX: Results vary.... )
Thread: Why isn't my bump map working in Poser 2014? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
Did P_2014 have that object parameter to limit displacement ? I was trying to 'displace' a ground-sheet to make low-poly 'grass lawn', could not get it to 'grow'. Changing the displacement limit made a field of 'Elephant Grass'...

Thank you, Kalypso, for your very prompt reply, which has resolved my misunderstanding !!
Yes, 'PoserSoftware' (PS) basket =/= Rendo' basket.
Latter, logically, did not recognise the PS coupon code...
Um, perhaps future site updates could include appropriate 'trap' message that coupon is PS not Rendo, and vice-versa ??

Animation or file ??
My recent 're-packaged retro' budget acquisitions from Daz often set folder / file security attributes which I must clear to wrangle the down-load into usable form.
Note: I manually install everything into individual folders in a sprawling archive, whose folders I then link in/out as Poser external libraries. I only use DS to export props, scenes etc that 'DSF Tools' cannot...
Thread: Best clothes formats to import in Poser12 | Forum: New Poser Users Help
FWIW, ShareCG has some Poser-compatible hospital equipment models. They may also be offered here, on Rendo...
If you can 'bill' commercial expenses, take a look on eg CG Trader, key-word SURGEON.
They offer medical facilities and staff in sundry formats. OBJ would suit fixed props, but I noticed some staff in animated FBX format.
A caution: Scaling aside, some FBX models import as a single, 'rooted' model. Others as a zoo of sub-rigs. If latter, the first sub-rig in Poser Hierarchy is the posable one, and all kin should be parented to that ASAP. Poser really, really does not like a surfeit of sub-rigs in hierarchy root...

Is there a current equivalent to PhilC's classic utility which could, IIRC, split out a PZ3's various makings ??
