I have to agree with hborre on this - the reason we don't have the Blender color ramp in Poser is because it relies on Blender functionality Poser doesn't have. However, I have seen people using the existing color ramp node when the only thing we need from it is a color gradient. For that, it serves the purpose.

Maybe you could simplify much of the giant shader by collapsing each copy as a composite node? You can expose only the parts you want to change, and then duplicating it to reuse it in all other copies, with only the rotation as a parameter. Also, remember these rotations are in Radians, not degrees. :)

Hi Rich, thank you! I see no reason why it wouldn't work in P13. :)Will this also work in Poser 13 or will this need an update? Looks very useful Ken. Thanks so much for making this!

Thread: hey , howcan i render & save fast mass!? | Forum: Poser 12
Do you want to render several PZ3 scenes that already exist into a folder, using specific filenames? Also, which Poser version are you using? Current Poser 12 has a different Python version, so older scripts may not work in it.

HI, thanks for the feedback. It comes down that Apple forbids Windows developers to test mac code, and even though I have tried a number of ways, there seems to be an internal kill switch that prevents it. The result is that I can't test anything for macs from Windows, and I have tried for months. This is why I tag my scripts for Windows on the product page. Most of the incompatibilities come from differences in the way the file system works in different OSes, and in some cases, differences on how macOS interprets mouse clicks. When mac testing is forbidden in Windows, there isn't much I can do. At least I can say I have tried hard, and whatever Apple is doing to prevent it seems to be quite effective. I have consulted other experienced developers, and they couldn't do it either. By now I can tell in first-hand experience that I did all I could. I appreciate that you came to me first, before posting negative reviews. :)In Poser 12 for Mac, it appears to be able to initialize the figure, but the button for exporting the unimesh morph target doesn't give me the option of being able to save it anywhere.

Hi Ken,
What is the list of the figures supported? You say all figures but it would be nice to know what all means! LOL
Looks VERY useful
Thanks so much
Richard
Hi Rich! As far as I know, this is a universal tool, and should work with ANY Poser figure. ^____^

The minimum required Poser 12 version above is 12.0.757, and not 12.0.993. Sorry, my mistake.
The link to the demo video is HERE.
Pity I cannot fix this on the actual post. Once submitted, things become cast in store here at Rendo.

Thread: It would be great if someone made a script to convert duf to mc6 files | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
The "DUF Prop Converter" script for Poser 12 has an option to convert entire sets of DUF material presets to Poser MC6 with simple drag and drop operation. Once you add the DS runtime folder as an external library in Poser, all the DS textures will be reused without duplication, which makes the conversions faster and save disk space.

Ok, I have talked to Rendo, and looks like they have missed the update notification last month. They had it fixed now. Current owners should receive an email notification about the update with instructions on how to install it (removing the previous version first). I have submitted that email notification last month, but it's only being sent now.Any idea when this will be available in our accounts? As mine doesn't show any update available and only 1.03 for download?
Thanks bwldrd for letting me know the product update didn't go through in the store! It's all good now. ^___^/

Wow, I was sure it was already updated. I've just checked it now and indeed, Rendo didn't updated the file. I have sent them the update last month and asked them to do it, and from my part, that's that's all I can do, since vendors cannot update the files ourselves. We trust they would, but this time they didn't.Any idea when this will be available in our accounts? As mine doesn't show any update available and only 1.03 for download?
Thanks for letting me know. I will ask them to do it again.

Thread: DUF Morph Converter Python Script for Poser 12 | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Today, a customer has identified an issue with the "DUF Morph Converter P12" where some DUF products stored their morphs over multiple folders, which was an unforeseen case. In those cases, the script would only detect morphs from the first folder. Today I have submitted update v1.0.1 that adds support for DUF contents with morphs scattered across multiple folders.
I am just waiting for Rendo to update the store ZIP file, since they don't let us do updates ourselves. If you have already purchased the script, you will receive a notification from Rendo that the product was updated, then you can reinstall it to get the changes. I always recommend removing the previous version before updating to avoid file versioning conflicts, and file duplications. You can use my "Script Manager P12" to quickly do that using the built-in script uninstaller, or do it manually otherwise.
Thanks to customer feedback, the script is now better than before. :D
