wow, great image. much easier to view with a smaller dimension though. large resolution is always a fantastic quality image, but viewing it online costs visual impact. I always render very large and resize in corel photo paint. corel has best algorythms for image resizing that I have found. this allows the whole image to be wiewed at once, increasing the visual impact. for sale or production the full size is perfect.

~looking at the scars on my wrists~ I'm not sure how she got to know it so well. ~L~ and my wife, of course I know things no-one else does. and you notice I'm not taking advantage and getting the prize. ~g~ specially concidering I have access to everything she has for poser...including pro pack.
Thread: Walking in High Heels | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Petunia, check out Elizabethan England (Shakespear) bras, corsets, girdles, and high heels all designed in that era...for MEN to wear. it was illegal for a woman to go onstage, so these props were designed for men to portray women onstage. high heels are designed for the male foot and leg, not for a woman. it was basedf on "riding boots" of the same era. all this is easily verified in the history section of your local library. ~g~
Thread: Freestuff area suggestion | Forum: Community Center
~g~ I have been bugging Stormrage about file names for stuff she downloaded....what model is this one for..is it clothing, or a prop or even a new model? ~l~ filenames don't usually reflect this.. I convinced her to organise downloads into specific folders for each character/model at least. Geocities isn't allowing hot linked images to come through all the time either. the only thing I uploaded to free stuff is on a geocities site and the thumb isn't displaying...going to geocities you can see the thumb no problem. it seems to me that it isn't enforcable to limit the use of free stuff when talking about the rendered images. what the artist chooses to do with the image is thier right, though credit for props ect would be nice to get. if you get something free you shouldn't sell the item..but finished images aren't the item. just my opinion on this. Thread: Is it possible to make Directories Wider so Text Fits on Screen | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
at the top of the list of directories and files, there is several little blocks, each one labeled with what is in the column under it. click on the line between the file name and size blocks...drag to the right..let go of mouse button.....presto, you have enlarged the column for file names. ~g~

you can make your own stuff in poser, but it is often easier to use a different program to do so. check out the tutorials section here to see how most people make props ect.

modelling in poser...what version of poser? do you have pro-pack? if yes to latter, check the pro-pack help in poser itself, it has a fairly simple tutorial with it, that would give you the basics for said modelling.
Thread: What is an "ace" file? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I cheated, I married someone who has spent a long time learning poser (Stormrage), so I have her knoweledge to draw upon. ~g~ with poser 4 you basically squish sqares and globes into a combination until you have the appearance you want, select them all and group them together, export an obj and map it to make it texturable. you need to "cut" the mesh to make it poseable, and set up a heirarchy and joint parameters and cr2 for the prop.
Thread: Please help: question regarding body color | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
a simple way, remove the textures and go through the channels in render materials to assign each part a different colour. it takes a bit of time, but it works. ~l~
Thread: Karina is here | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Emily, thanks, I put the textures together for the dresses. ~g~ working on a few more for different items right now. ronknights, fortunately, our isp says unlimited bandwidth...~EFG~ and we can snag 70mb web space without charges on the account.
