I remember stumling on this site, I am often times surprised by some of the threads but all in all I think this place rocks. I have had so much support from people I dont even know that it really gave me incentive to work all that much harder. But one thing I started noteing {as I am member to other gallery sites and have few other galleries} is a deep dark secret. I have found that some artists use poser...and do not note it. I am not talking about things like some of us do that we do post work. I mean they will use a model or whole scene and then "paint" over it or what ever and say that it is with out aid. What gets me is why? why not say "hey I used poser to start this piece"? what is so bad about poser that it is refered to as if it is a kiddy proggy? Why is it some artists have to use it in secret to be taken seriously? The artists I see in here that work with poser work just as hard if not harder then the "big boys" So why is it that it is not taken as seriously? Why is it poser people do not seem to get the same respect as other proggy users?

ohh I got to get this straight. A link was posted about the computer sex life thinggy. It got deleted for adult content. it got reposted and not deleted. Someone got upset over electrical appliances??? if that is the case do they cover their eyes when they plug in a light to a socket? I am sorry But I have seen art in here {I am saying art} that is nude beautiful and all that great stuff. But it is not taken down{thank god} But a few pics of COMPUTERS set in funny poses is offensive?

I just got poser 5 and I am already nuts!!!! It will not render at all I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it is driving me nuts!!!! Poser 4.....I think Ill just stick to that and suffer without dynamic hiar!

I have done all that it wont even show a ground shadow or even a circle around the figure. I have gone nuts with this as according to everything on my screen there should be something in view. One is a tiger I have the other is the Kaz hair from Daz...both show up on the list fine....but when I try to load it....I get the dials but no figure. nothing not even anything to show the figure to be in the spot the dials show. I at first thought maybe a file had been defective and that is why it didnt show but nadda! I boot the puter....I pan out.....I try to highlight the figure body part per drop down...it is maddening! The files are not imported. {though I had that problem with a imported till I rendered it and poof it apeared. I have tried that as well .......and nothing.} I do wish to thank everyone that has taken the time so far to comment I really appreciate it. Lordy ...out of curiousity I went and typed in "poser" into webshots search...I am seeing many pictures that I hve seen in here...one was of the sacrament and tears pic from the market place.

if those that have there work taken ...cant they do a class action law suite to those servers and/or people that keep doing this and get them stoped and monetary damages awarded?

that may be so but when someone is shown to be stealing images or as a repeat offender something more needs to be done, something more then a slap on the wrist

You have it right. The people that keep doing this get off with nothing but a closed account if that much most times. Not just one webshots. Trust me if there was more to do Let me know I would help in an instant!

I have had the similar problem with msn and its groups! and they will do something only after most times you threaten legal action.

NO no flame war...NO....bad very bad... ANywayyyyyyyy... I had noticed this not just in poser galleries. But in others. just poser is where I look the most. It just struck me as curious, I mean I see some really great peices but lil or no views or lil or no comments. I was just curiouse as to why this happened. ~smiles~ Perhaps we can get Renderosity to open a gallery section for naked woman in temples. lol. They are popular and that way we can see how others percieve the naked temple dieties! :) {and thank you to snowsultan for the great Temple of Nehkehdnez for such inspiration! I cant do anime to save my life! and I cant see how you took it as directed to you either! and See no big nekkidness and you have huge amount of viewings and comments. so naked doesnt equall viewings. and side note....Nothing wrong with nakedness...really there isnt. I am just in the bald naked woman thing...LOL.

I do not want to pay more for gas! my god it is almost to the point of having to get gas gift ceritficates for presents!o.o anywho...Naked does not equal comments. lol nor does it equal how many look at it. and actually galactron I thought that had been directed at me :S. we both apparently took it to heart lol. Still...when you work in art..and you are creating day in and day out it is hard to suddenly come up with that inspiration to do something that is really wow. You have deadlines..and pressure and you have people going .."no not like that I need it this way..:" and when you wind down you sometimes want a no brainer. or you want to do something just for personal pleasure. Like I said in another thread ..I rarely see bad pictures in here. I see alot of work put into pieces. I mean dont we all do "fluff" pieces? {ya know the ones just to put something up}

O.O blandly pretty? stagnant? Some of the art that I have seen with no comments can not be described as such. not new work ..work that has been here. and sometimes well heck you have to give the brain a slow down and do something that is just pretty. It is hard trying to be unique all the time LOL. Besides dont we all sometimes just render to ...render?
