Happy Thanksgiving to everyone home in the States. As an expat in Europe, getting the traditional dinner together is really an adventure. I made my first TRUE pumpkin pies this year, from real pumpkins. I'm kind of wondering why God gave them skins like cannonballs???? I needed a machete to slice those babies in half, not a cooking knife! However, it sure gave me a sense of appreciation for what our Pilgrim Mothers had to go through. And it turned out delicious!!
