>Why can't you just add points where you want them... You can... with a plugin called DrawLoop. You can find it here: http://membres.lycos.fr/dong3d/plugsdone/ Just download and place them in Wings3D's plugins directory. >I was hoping that you could model poly by poly too but I don't think you can. Right- you can't. There's nothing wrong with modeling poly by poly but that's not what Wings3D is all about. It's a box modeler. >...seems to me to be some simple tools missing that would make it a lot easier to use. I suppose it's just what you get used to using. I'm not much of a modeler yet but so far I have found Wings3D to be the easiest and most straight forward modeler I have tried. You will probably be pleasantly surprised at what can be done once you have a bit more experience with it. One thing to remember- Wings3D is still in beta with features yet to be added. Even though it still unfinished it is remarkably stable and extremely useful. Here's my first try at modeling some figures. Even though I am a beginner at all this I was still pleased with the results of about an hour and a half. (and yes, I wanted them very stylistic and without detail.) I really recommend this program.
