I, personally, have no problems with someone prohibiting re-distribution, That seems the very minimum to ask if you're making your work available for free. As a professional photographer, I know that images are protected by a very strict and long-established series of copyright cases, but even there the law changes after years. In a famous case in Italy, a photographer (Oliviero Toscani - Benetton, Stefanel, etc) took a company to court (and won) because he disagreed with the MORAL use to which they had put his pictures. That set a new precedent. So if I do a shoot for you and you use those pics to promote porn or racism, I can sue under copyright law. Fascinating subject. mac
