The figures look like the Poser Casual Man apart from the color; somewhere on the Poser Fun Stuff I once saw a "Military texture for the Casual Man", but it isn't there now. There is still a model entry for "Red Barretts" (thus spelt) by Helmut Schaub, showing a man and a woman in army-type camouflage overalls and red berets, but just now I tried to download it and it led only to an error screen from Yahoo saying that http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Academy/1949/barretts.zip doesn't exist. If Helmut Schaub can't be contacted, those models begin to look to me like "res nullius" or "bona vacantia" and there could be discussion about someone re-posting them, since they look useful.
I heard on a TV program how Area 51 got its number. When the USA Govt started to test the atom bomb, they divided south Nevada into numbered areas. Of these areas, #51 happened to include Groom Dry Lake. Later, someoone wanted a really remote secret area to test a new secret airplane, and guessed that Groom Dry Lake would be a useful runway, and things developed from that. (Who was the lake named after?)
