Paul, it exists actually...ever seen "small soldiers"? what they use to make those toys you have a 3d model on the computer, and then you have this tank of jel-like stuff it uses lazers to harden the jell, and builds a true model from your 3d model then from that model they can make moulds and mass produce whatever it is they wanted my ex-school was thinking about buying one, but they decided instead to actually save the money and use it to buy something useful. smart decision.
