re: micropoly displacement. Blender 5.0 final came out around Christmas 2025, and among other things bumped up the ‘micropoly displacement’ in Cycles from 'experimental' to 'official' and also appears to have re-named it. Sadly 5.0 came out only about nine days before Poser 14, and thus Poser’s newest Cycles apparently doesn’t have this feature yet (or it didn't, the last time I looked). This is because the Poser Dev team were quite sensibly not implementing stuff in Blender/Cycles that was flagged as 'experimental'.
