Nerd - Thanks for an in-depth explanation of how all those files work -- or DON"T work -- together! Most of the V4 and M4 content was originally loaded 6+ years ago using the DAZ Installer app because Poser's Library would never install them correctly. I don't know if DAZ's Installer would work reliably now or clean up a bad installation?

Still running W7 Pro on this AMD X6 platform and the DAZ Installer INSISTED on installing the core V4 and V4 characters in the Windows Public Document Library.

I built a new Ryzen 9 7900X 12-core PC last fall with an RTX 3060 12 GB and 64 GB RAM and 2 GB Samsung SSD -- but never got around to installing the W11 Pro OS. Also bought Poser 13 and upgraded to Poser 14 to install on this new system... I better get moving on that soon.

Question: Will the Poser 14 installer put all my V4 (and Elite and Steph 4 and Aiko 4 variants) and M4 (and Freak 4 and Hiro 4 variants) into the proper places -- or will the DAZ Installer be needed?
