Since this month's (May 2026) four mini challenges are (were - I didn't remember this topic until the very last day) on the theme of Shadows And Light I thought it would be a good idea to revive this topic to add any new advice from the last ten years. So if anybody has any hints, suggestions, advice, links, etc...
The 3Dcheapskate (also available in DAZ and HiveWire3D flavours) occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
