I guess I'm a convert now. Like many I wasn't keen on the G9 series of characters when they first came out. The figures seemed much more convoluted with more things now being separated, and yet another morphing syntax.

But as I picked things apart & examined what was what, I found that much was actually simpler and easier to work with. Simulations went smoother generally. dForce Strand-Based hair is still hit & miss for me but starting to getting a handle on that.

I'm up to 10+ G9 Characters now. The figures are looking great, otherwise I wouldn't be getting them. They use different UV's of course, and the texture mapping is different but using better techniques. The Pose conversion script from G3 & G8 is easy to use & nearly flawless.

As for deformations issues, I generally clothe my characters so don't worry what's going to end up just hidden. I also export out of DAZ so have controls for most of those things anyway, so can easily fix when/where needed. Still fine tuning some aspects of this older wardrobe, but G9 Beatrice is looking great to my eye.
