Quick update: I have now been running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on my big computer for a few days, and so far I'm very happy with it. I have also tried out Poser 13 and the latest Marvelous Designer version under Wine, and while I haven't done extensive testing, so far they look fully functional with a few small GUI quirks on the Poser site, and of course no GPU support out of the box. It seems there are additional DLLs that might give me GPU functionality, but getting them installed looks fiddly and I'm not keen to do that, at least not at this point.

As for the native Linux version of MD, support told me that currently this is only available for enterprise clients. A bit disappointing, but I can understand that from a business point of view, this is what they want to focus on. If it works out for them, hopefully they'll make it available for private accounts later.

Anyway, long story short: if you are eager to get your hands on a garment I have shown here but not published, feel free to ask for it. I won't publish any more FreeStuff items, but I'm happy to share individual Poser-ready props, assuming Poser on Wine will let me, or else the raw .obj files.
