Got it.  Yuki has a torture-test scene rendering (Superfly, GPU/Optix) now;  scene is quite dark with lots of mesh lighting.  Roxie's eye whites looked like she was a Goa'uld, so I darkened them.  Rendering at 3840x2160 pixels (4K), the samples are completing in less than a second each.
