When trying to use Snow machine 3 with all materials selected I get the above Error. 

Any thoughts?

It's not a part that I touched, but from what I can read,  the script by default looks for a PoserSurfaceNode. 
I can reproduce this error if I delete  anything from the material, except a CyclesNode (activated for both render engines), same with a PhysicalSurface.

Even an empty material, based on PoserSurface, works.
