one of my absolute favourite artists, and stage set designers, is Maurice Sendak.

so for me, this lovely picture is absolutely taking place as Max's bedroom starts to change and turn into the forest/jungle in Where the Wild Things Are...

Just Googled it - all it needs is a few strange animals in there :)
