Finally have an upgraded version of Stable Diffusion running on my rig without crashing ... much. I still can't do face restoration automatically in it like before without running out of vram, but there are new models too that are higher quality than before so I seem to be getting less ugly. Hands are greatly improved though still not perfect -- I've gotten missing nails and the oddly positioned finger, especially when character is holding things like pens or wands or swords, but too good to toss away. And now that I am finished with the tax man -- deadline to file is midnight tonight in my neck of the woods -- and some of my health issues are sorted, I'm in the mood to play again. So I'll probably work some of these for my gallery.

And some Snapes.

Hands are good here but not sure what's up with the book or paper he's holding. Shape is funny and it almost appears translucent, which regular paper ought not to be. Suggestions how to fix?

This one's better with regard to the book. Needs a touch up on the hands though, and no idea why all of a sudden SD started putting blue robes on him. So. Much. Blue. Which was not in the prompt, only colour specified was silver. Had to put blue into the negative prompt box to keep it from turning him into a complete Ravenclaw. Oh well, at least it wasn't Gryffindor red.

Now these robes are the right colour, but is my crazy eyesight playing tricks on me or is his bow tie upside down? Must admit I don't know much about bow ties, nobody in my family ever wore them, not even in school. Oh well, maybe it's high fashion in the Wizarding world. At least it won't trigger migraines and seizures like the ridiculous robes of a certain Headmaster we all know have a tendency to do. Have to work on it tomorrow, getting late and this little Byrdie is off to my nest. Good night and good rendering, all!
