I still listen to my old David Cassidy stuff hahaaaaaa  At least he has the same initials as David Coverdale :)

I tried the Monkeys Mickey Dolenz and Davey Jones but you say monkeys and Mid-J gives you monkeys...always preferred  Ian Gillan to David Coverdale

Didn't the band spell it Monkees? Don't know if that would help or if Mid-J would spell correct
