Sorry i can't help, But not so sure it's a phantom hand or arm....because the water line stops where the arm should be visible, more a bug or glitch in the matrix....!

Thought it was a bit on the glitchy side, even for a messed up hand, which is pretty standard for AI, unfortunately.  So it's either crop or re-do it, in hopes of a passable version. Wah! I don't wanna crop it, Mommy! So I guess it's re-do the whole thing instead of inpainting that stupid hand & see what happens.
