It used to be 6000 pixels and 6mb but now they started compressing all JPEGs so no matter what you upload it's going to automatically be compressed to something which is sorta okay in quality. At DeviantArt you put a 10Mb image up and it stays 10Mb, also they accept PNGs (higher quality)
