Smart content is driven by the database, though nothing will show if the files themselves cannot be seen.

You don't need to search, just set the content directories to point to the correct folders (the one that holds the Runtime and Data folders - e.g. My Daz 3D Library if using the defaults) by right-click on Daz Studio Formatas and/or Poser Formats in the Content Library pane.
