Subject: In Superfly: casting a shadow
Shadow catcher doesn’t work in poser 11 SF. In P12 there were issues, but I don’t remember what they were and my poser computer dies so I can’t check. If you render over a background shader rather than a sphere it works fine in the same manner as firefly.
If you want to use Ezdome it has its own shadow catcher that it can setup

And just in case you'd like to use Poser12's background node, you may use a PoserSurface's "Shadow_catch_only" mode on a round ground plane, using the show settings:

All I can find is that it says it's build 49, so apparently, I have an older version?

Since I can't get a shadow in my version of Poser 11, I decided I would have to do some post work to get one in there. I will have to do another render of this without the ezdome and get the shadow on the ground or use one of the planes in the primitive folder.
I changed the pose because I didn't like what her right hand was doing.

I want to use the ground to capture the shadow of my figure, and have it appear to be on the background image in EZDome.
But I can't figure out how to do it. I know I pulled it off once in Poser 8, by ticking the shadow catch only and some other thing I saw someone posted in here years back.
How would I do it in Superfly?
