Your load times on G8F may being impacted by the number of morph packages / characters you have installed. I would uninstall any ones that you aren't using / have no plan to use. I would also check your error log after the load to see if you have any errors coming up.

As already mentioned, there is a good chance you have a character installed that defaults into your G8F. This is a common problem overlooked by DAZ3D's quality control. Once one of these incorrect products are installed they are always dialed into your G8F figures no matter what. When the issues are pointed out DAZ3D usually resolves them, but creating the ticket report is a pain in the neck.
