I see your DE AANBIDDING VAN HET LAM GODS and raise you an ISENHEIM ALTARPIECE... one of my favorite religious paintings, a triptych, and also a good example of the grotesque in religious painting. Something I was always interested in and have studied quite a bit, not that I'm religious.Violence advisory attached if necessary. There's some strange details in the various parts of the painting, worthy of a further image search. Also has an interesting background story.
