Just rereading your last comments yes the arrows will collapse and expand all of the libraries listed on the Left. Thinking of them as different libraries will help. From your pics above you are looking in the Daz Connect library. If you scroll the far left side to the very top and click the little arrow next to the Daz Connect library which will be facing down it will collapse the Daz Connect library. You should then be able to expand either of the other two libraries below it (My Library and My Daz 3D library which relate directly to the CDM and to the files on your hard drive). If your missing content isn't in these two you will need to follow one of the options above.
