@Toomuchtime: It sounds like you've had a bad experience with Daz, and it's not getting better. I've found it to be a good and stable program. I like it. There is one crash bug that plagues me, but I can usually avoid it. When I have Iray materials applied to my models and I press the 3Delight render tab, crash! Same if I have 3Delight selected and attempt to load a file with iray textures in it. But that's the only ongoing problem. I did end up reloading Daz when I wanted to go from 4.8 and 4.10 installed to just 4.10. I also ended up reloading my content. Not because Content Manager couldn't find it, because I accidentally deleted the JSON files that the Download Manager uses to know what's installed and what's not. Didn't expect that! It was for the best because Daz has been upgrading the bundled content packages. I hope you can solve your problems therre. The program can be a lot of fun.
