You're quite welcome Lobo. I downloaded that tutorial you linked to, and I'm going to try it out, though Russian isn't a language I can read either, so we shall see how I do.
I came across issue when using the knife tool seems some how I had either double clicked or something and had extra verts that became visible when you get to the final part where you use the wire frame modifier so if you come across the same mistake I made zooming in and removing the extra verts and reusing the knife tool fixed the mistake.
