The Pro version of Poser 8 was Poser Pro 2010 which was when they started naming the Pro versions after the year they were released. After doing that several times they saw how it could get confusing and have now just gone with the next consecutive iteration of Poser and just add "Pro" to it, something much more sensible IMO.
