I just wanted to let you know that we have been working on V4 to Pauline and a M4 to Paul conversion for our Texture Transformer version 2 base software. We are in the testing stages now, and hope to have them added to our base TTv2 within the next week or two.

Also, if you haven't already heard, we have completely changed the way Texture Transformer version 2 works. As you probably all know, the 1st version required you to load the source / input figure (like V4) into Poser or Daz Studio, load the textures you wanted to convert and then save (or export) as cr2 file. Then, use that saved cr2 file in Texture Transformer, which meant that if you had 10 makeup files to convert, you had to load each makeup file individually and save a separate cr2 file. Now, the 2nd version does not require loading the textures in Poser or DS to save them on the figure first.

And, not only does version 2 make converting cr2 files easier, it now also will convert duf, pz2 and mc6 texture files AND can usually even Iray transformations. I say usually because the complexity of the Iray shader nodes and how some character textures are made, there may still be a few bugs or TT default system settings that we will need to update to handle exceptions better. Depending on the character you wish to transform, you may need to do a couple of sets separately. For example, say a male character has two 'main' (full or default) skin texture sets; one for hairy, and one for smooth or not so hairy and then has different face options (like beard, gotee, no facial hair). The hairy set would need to be done as one batch, so that the hairy main skin texture is used as "the master" file to fill-in the 'default' areas that the face doesn't automatically include. Then, the smooth (or not so hairy) would need to be done as a separate batch so that it's 'main' (full or default) skin texture set can be used as "the master" file.

The TTv2 batch conversions can take a while to run/process (sometimes around a minute per texture), but we've tested with 30 conversions in one batch. So, considering the manual way of trying to create texture conversion from figures like V4 to Dawn (or using TT version 1), the batch processing time doesn't seems to be very well tolerated.

Please feel free to SiteMail with any questions you may have, and we'll be glad to help. Thanks for using our software!
