Turns out I do have Fenric's ERC for Carrara installed, so it apparently does not make the ERC for Poser imported items work. It does have a lot of features, which I'm starting to investigate ... not sure exactly what I can use it for yet. I did take a quick shot at duplicating the ERC for the Poser format Steampunk Segway, got nowhere.
