Thanks - what an idiot I am! I was looking for a pop-up dialog after selecting the OBJ file, like I used to see in 2.49b (I think?). And I did look in the bottom left, but only after I'd imported the OBJ (after all when you do Add > Mesh the mesh options are still there) - but of course you can't select import options after importing, you have to do that beforehand! D'oh! Facepalm!

The 3Dcheapskate (also available in DAZ and HiveWire3D flavours) occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
