Due to that little bit of confusion I'm going to restate the problem(images are from earlier posts).
Here are the relevant bits from the PP2 of three props:
Here are the results when I load three copies of each prop from the library: left - without any figure in the scene (i.e. all props unparented);right - with Andy in the scene, so smartprops parent to him.
The 3Dcheapskate (also available in DAZ and HiveWire3D flavours) occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
