Subject: Why Does the External Name For A Prop SOMETIMES Have An '_1' Suffix

Still haven't got the bottom of this, but the SlicerSwords and IcyingLights are smartprops, and in the second example when they were loaded from the library they were automatically parented to Andy's hand. The PersianSwords aren't a smartprop and weren't parented.

So it looks as if parenting to a figure has something to do with it.

Also the :1 on the internal names seems to be something specific to figures, or props parented to figures.


The 3Dcheapskate (also available in DAZ and HiveWire3D flavours) occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
