Hello, Late to this post (and all the others), I have used Paint Shop Pro since Windows 95. That would be version 6 in my case. I stuck at PSP 9 cause frankly, it had all that I needed from a quick editor. Though I also use PS, most of my work seems to revolve around PSP. What that says about my work, I don't know. With Windows 7 (Ultimate 32) I have only noticed that PSP 9 automatically drops the Aero environment (transparency and shiny bits) then resets all when closed. If I use a standard (non-Aero) color scheme, I notice nothing. Oddly, Animation Shop 3.11, included with PSP9 doesn't seem to have the Aero problem. I see that Corel is up to version X7 and Wiki notes that it is not compatible with Windows 10 (yet, I suppose), but I won't switch from Windows 7 until I absolutely (read: never) have to. PSP 9 forever !
