Thanks guys ... I see some of you noticed I did the same thread over at DAZ, (he he) and the object technique is ... very time consuming as I have to re-assign textures to each and every part of the object.  (Granted, back in the Bryce/Poser 3 and 4 versions that was the standard ... but it's a lot more complicated now ... of course file set-up could be at fault here as I read further).

I'll continue my new exploration ... my "renewed" copy of "Real World Bryce 4" arrives later this week. (found my old copy destroyed by mold late last week).  Onward and forward we go .... trudge, happily ... trudge.
