Well, I'm not worried about them datamining anything from me (because they'll never get the chance) :-D

But it would be nice to have one, there's a few Apps I like from KORG and AKAI especially, and it would save me buying a Wacom as well.  My reasoning is that I could buy a secondhand iPad for less than a Wacom and be able to draw right on to the screen, and I've always wanted one of those Cintiq tablets but can't afford to be forking out for that sort of thng.  So I want one only if I can disable the datamining.

Almost everthing you do on those things is datamined, and the only way to cure those Reptiloids of their privacy-invasive fetish, is to cut their lifeline, which in the case of any of these devices, is it's ability to call home.  Cut that, problem solved, it means I get to use them, but they never get to use me.
