I can understand that, Primorge, absolutely.
Believe it or not, although I've never owned an Apple product (and never will), there was a time when I used to admire Apple for their take on things, that less is more, think outside the box, all that sort of thing. After Commodore went down with their Amiga (which is what I used to use before I had no choice but to move to a PC), the Mac looked enticing and very Amiga-like compared to a PC, but in the end I went with the PC simply due to fear of the Mac going the same way the Amiga did and my investment being wasted again. I suppose you could say the unfortunate death of Commodore saved me from Apple.
