I went to vertex mode, and adjusted the vetices along the border edge of the hole I created to match the profile shape of the spout on your model. Next, I created a spline in the viewport, and shaped it to roughly match the shape and flow of your spout as well. Then, I selected the edges of the border hole, and capped it with a ngon temporarily, then selected that ngon, and chose "Extrude On Spline" to extrude it along the spline shape. Then I adjusted the parameters in the tool's caddy, like the taper, to match the spout on your model. The result was pretty close, as you can see here. My spout came out a little longer, but I could fix that manually, or just leave it as close enough. The main thing is that it's very close to yours, and attached as one geometry to the body.
I selected the ngon that was at the tip of the extrusion and deleted it, to create the hole for the spout tip.
Next step will be to create the handle. This might take a little more work, and I may use the Super Poly Bridge to do it. However, it can be done also with Extrude on Spline. I'll try that first.
