Quote - I think what EClark means is that Poser comes standard with cloth, hair and animation. For DS, it's plugins...and even with the DS cloth plugin you can't you use your own meshes unless you have the Optitex license. Personally I love being able to use my own meshes in the cloth room and it's sad that DS users don't have that. But they have other features they like just as much I guess :). For me it's all apples and oranges...whatever you need to use to get the job done is fine by me :P I did try to use Genesis in Poser and found it - lacking. Wasn't really much skin off my nose tho...I have tons to play with as is. LOL

Sorry, Laurie. Guess I was speaking about stuff I didn't know about again. Truth is, there's one sure fire reason I use Poser. I KNOW that it will work on my Mac.  Not some of it,  ALL of it. Almost everytime DAZ has implemented a new feature in Studio, and usually it was via a plug-in, Mac-users were left out. Opititex took almost a whole year before they finally came out with a plug-in for Mac users for their dynamic clothing and even then you couldn't get the old stuff they had put out to work for it.

Truth is DAZ has been pissing me off for a long time with that "Mac users don't matter as much" mentality with a lot of their products being "windows only" over the years. I have to stop now, cause I'm starting to get pissed off all over again, just thinking about it. I thought I was over it, but clearly I still have issues.
