I agree with all that RobynsVeil** **especially this last portion having tried my hand at the old version of Blender the current devolopement has come broken down that wall and former sterotype of being to hard to learn. There is wealth of information and some really talented indivuals and communities sharing knowledge on how they do many exciting things and very proud that ours here is one that is so willing to help so take up the challenge jump into Blender wont loose anything.
