Does anyone else feel that the writing prizes are, um, weak?

Look at the 3D category.  Then look at writing.

 

How many people who enter the writing contest would also be interested in some of the nifty stuff on display for the 3D category? I know I would.  I also know I have a better chance winning in the writing category than I do the 3D category.  But I'd still like some of the prizes to boost my 3D and maybe give me more confidence and skill for the future.

I just think a little more parity would be nice.  Even is the writing category is undersubscribed.
