I think that it's obvious why some makeups and brows work and some not and why almost any lip texture will look perfect on Antonia. And I found the reason for the strange results I've got with the scalp of some textures: The scalp had to be "pulled" into the face because Antonia's head is shaped different (if not to say: more natural) than V3's (...egghead). The part above the ears is stretched into the direction of the scalp, that gave me the strange lines in my render. So in fact: Less structure and contrasts in and around the ears will give better results (or a clever hairdo
).
To me it seems that as long as you avoid specific eyliners that reach that line that points downwards from the outer eyecorner you should get good results.
I'll post a half-portrait in a minute to show the ears and the side of the brows.
Strange enough: To me the brow-region on the face looks not distorted so I wonder why I get that strange results with some textures...
Just for your information: I've set the brow-geometries to transparent, same goes for the cornea. And: I tested what you've described and put the eye-template to the cornea. Sorry, I don't get the point why some matposes do this. It looks simply wrong.
I'm not always right, but my mistakes are more interesting!
And I am not strange, I am Limited Edition!
