I like Antonia A's compact mapping, the other version seems to have a crazy amount of empty space on most maps. I can appreciate that A's extra seams might make it more difficult for the texture creators, but the benefit to the users in resource economies will be significant, I would think.

If there was a vote on which version to push as the standard, I'd vote Antonia A.
