thanks. I just was not sure whether the preview is WYSIWYG in that respect. I do understand the renderer turns anything into tris, we still aren't sure about the sim routine, do we? 

What do you mean "give each one a descriptive name"? This is what C4D puts in a 1x1 OBJ

So I see four vertices in world coordinates, the same in UV coordinates, and then something. A Quad called f? The 4x4 Obj contains 16 f-groups, so that makes sense.

Within 2,5 hour I'll have my poser back, then I have a look in there.

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.
