Subject: Installation question

Try the following

  1. Start -> Run -> %temp%

That will take you to the proper temp page.  clear it up.

  1. run Task Manager (CTRL-ALT-DELETE)  under processes sort by CPU and look at what is chewing resources.

3. If you see any funny programs you dont recognize, download / install and scan with MalwareBytes & SuperAntiSpyware both have free editions you can get from www.download.com

make sure  windows is up to date, Microsoft just came out with emergency patch for a problem that effects all windows versions. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2229593  there is a fix for it there.
