w00t!!  Using safemode to delete them worked!!!!  Thanks for all your help, guys :)  It wasn't so much that I want a crap ton of fonts installed (really, I don't)...but, with all of them installed I couldn't run photoshop.  Now that they're under 2k, I'm golden, and I'll delete more at my leisure.
