I have a couple of quick questions on the C8 64 bit Beta install - it is asking to install in c:program filescarrara8 which would normally be ok, but I am running a Quadcore with 8GB of ram running Win 7 64 bit.  Normally, when programs install they default to c:program files(x64).

Does anyone know the reason for this?

The install program does allow me to obviously choose a different destination folder, but something about this prompting did not sit well so I did not install the beta.

Also, has anyone encountered serious problems with the C8 beta requiring a re-install.  The Quadcore I am using is my main system for work, so while part of me really wants to test C8's 64 bit render engine, I don't want to have to reinstall Win 7 again.
