i'm interested in Antonia for 3 different reasons that have nothing to do with who made her or how, except in outcome:
her bending is revolutionary. if you look at what's been shown in previews, especially at the ankle, you simply cannot do that with any other figure. i know because i've not only tried, i've looked around a lot. this is the first figure i might actually be able to use to recreate the poses in my huge library of reference material. no DAZ figure has been able to. if you're not getting those kind of results, you might play around some more, but it's definitely possible.
her body shape and proportions are the most realistic i've come across yet. her hip especially is much better than most, and that's absolutely essential to movement. no pose looks right if the "weight" of a figure is in the wrong place. and it can't be in the right place if the hip is wrong.
her topology is by far the best i've ever seen. very smooth and even, and just the right balance between high and low poly count. i really look forward to morphing her.
she's already got high quality support. bagginsbill has given her the most realistic eyes i've ever seen. SaintFox and others are giving her great textures that look like they don't have tons of burned in artifacts. fabiana is including her in clothing and hair support. but none of that would matter much to me if the quality of the base figure were low or even average. odf, Phantom3d and others are making sure that her uv mapping has very little distortion, her bending is as realistic as possible, and her errors are minimal. and there's a trend of continual support and improvement, rather than only major version improvements.
maybe i wouldn't be interested if i didn't make my own stuff, or i just wanted to do standard Poser work, but i'm really hoping Antonia will be as much of a help to me achieving my artistic vision as tools like Matmatic have been.
